Oklahoma Sooners Super Freshman Samaje Perine Named As A FWAA Freshman All-American

I think that we’re all agreed that the brightest spot for Oklahoma’s offense in 2014 was the emergence of freshman running back Samaje Perine. On Wednesday Perine was acknowledged by the Football Writers Association of America as one of the best freshmen in the country when he was named as a Freshman All-American.

For a kid that has played just one season of college football, Samaje Perine has received a pretty nice stack of accolades from the national media and conference coaches.

Here’s his bio according to SoonerSports.com
